Linke Computer Limited (“we”, “Linke Computer”, “Linke Shop”, linke.hk) respects your personal data privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal data when you use our website, Facebook/Messenger, WhatsApp, email, store and repair services.

  • Contact details: name, phone, email, correspondence/shipping address, WhatsApp or Messenger account identifiers.
  • Transaction and service data: orders, payment records, repair tickets (RMA), product serial numbers, fault descriptions, appointment times.
  • Communications: messages you send via website, email, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or other channels.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device data, cookies and similar technologies (where applicable).

3. Purposes of use

  • Processing orders, delivery, payment and after-sales service.
  • Providing computer/peripheral repair, quotes, bookings and status updates.
  • Responding to enquiries, including via automated or human customer service (e.g. Messenger/WhatsApp).
  • Accounting, tax, legal compliance and dispute handling.
  • With consent or as permitted by law, sending service notices or marketing (you may opt out anytime).
  • Protecting our website, systems and customers against fraud and abuse.

4. Legal basis (Hong Kong)

We collect and use personal data under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), only for purposes directly related to the above and to the extent reasonably necessary.

5. Disclosure and sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when needed with:

  • Logistics/couriers (e.g. SF Express) for delivery or mail-in repair.
  • Payment providers (e.g. AlipayHK, PayMe, bank/card gateways).
  • Technology service providers for website, cloud, messaging or customer service tools (including Meta/Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp-related services), under their terms and only to process data on our instructions.
  • Where required by law, court order, or to protect our/others’ rights and safety.

6. Cross-border transfer

Some providers’ servers may be outside Hong Kong. We take reasonable steps so data receives protection not less than described in this policy.

7. Retention

We keep data as long as needed for the purpose collected, and retain transaction/repair records as required for accounting, tax and legal reasons, then securely delete or anonymise it.

8. Cookies

This site may use cookies or similar technologies for cart, login and browsing experience. You can manage cookies in your browser; disabling them may affect some features.

9. Your rights

10. Children

Our services are not directed at children. If we learn we collected a child’s data without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.

11. Updates

We may update this policy and post the latest version with the update date on this page. Continued use of our services means you acknowledge the updated policy.
